Details»
Description:

In this next installment of the S&OP special interest group we will divide our day into two parts. The first, a follow up from our July meeting about who owns the S&OP process, we drill deeper and discuss which function should own the forecast and how to apply lean principles to the forecasting process. In the afternoon we will discuss how sales forecasts and sales targets can be aligned.

Prof. Siemsen will walk us through lean principles and aligning forecasts and targets followed by a discussion with members in the room. We will as a group discuss who owns the forecast and the rationale your company uses. Finally, we will allow time for an open forum to see how your current state aligns, and if there is any room to make changes in your process in the forecasting process. Please be prepared to engage in this conversation as everyone will have time to be a part of this interactive meeting.

Participate in Customizing the Agenda: You’ll have the opportunity to play an active part in shaping the agenda for this session – and to maximize its relevance for you – by suggesting and selecting topics for break-out discussions. Once the agenda is complete, you choose the discussions you want to join. This will be a highly interactive session so come prepared to share your questions, challenges and insights!
