Living in the digital age means that people are continuing to do more of their researching and purchasing online. According Forrester’s Online Retail Forecast, “Online sales will account for 17% of all US retail sales by 2022, up from a projected 12.7% in 2017”. As businesses continue to optimize their e-commerce strategies, all industries must recognize the shift of customer expectations and the importance of reaching customers with the product assortment they demand. For B2B and B2C organizations, it is critical to incorporate emerging trends that support your digital presence and grow your business.

This meeting will focus on member companies sharing best practices for e-commerce strategies. It will be a day of collaborative learning opportunities to compare and share expertise with members through presentations, peer-to-peer discussion, and case-study examples. Note, we have added personalization to the agenda for the day (see below).

Topics for discussion will include:

Kurt Heinemann, CMO at Reflektion. Kurt has helped redefine personalization in e-commerce. Prior to Reflektion he was the CMO for Marketwired/Sysomos, a leading international news and regulatory filing distributor and communications company (Marketwired), and a media monitoring and analysis platform used by over 15,000 global organizations (Sysomos). Kurt's e-commerce experience goes deeper with his work with Monetate, a leading provider of an agile personalization platform for digital retail.

Jason Rottier, Director of Business Development – eCommerce at Menasha Corporation, will share success strategies he has used to drive e-commerce sales and brand equity across many fast growing online categories.

Nicole Westenberger, Vice President, E-commerce and Marketing at Brady Corporation, will explore e-commerce marketplace options as efficient and effective strategies for product assortment expansion.
