Human Resources Executives Special Interest Group Meeting

Effective Change Management
September 13, 2018 09:00 AM - 03:00 PM
Learn how UWEBC member companies initiate, implement and manage people-related change from an HR perspective.

It doesn't matter if your organization is large or small, the one thing we can be sure of is that change is ever constant in today's business environment. That, however, doesn't mean that change is well-embraced by our employees or that we, ourselves, are always managing it effectively.

When changes fail, they often do so due to lack of preparation, poor communication and/or employee resistance, all of which can result in duplicated efforts, inefficiencies, wasted resources and disengaged employees.

In this session, you will have an opportunity to hear from other member companies who will share their steps and approaches to implementing change within their organizations. As always, ample time will be given to discussion.

We are in the process of finalizing our presenters for this meeting, so more details will be added in the next week or two. As we did for our last meeting, attendees will have the opportunity to submit their change management questions or concerns so that these can be discussed during our breakout session in the afternoon.

If you or your organization has a change management success story you would like to share at this meeting, and/or have worked with any particularly good change management consultants in the past, we would love to hear from you! Please reach out to to provide details for our upcoming meeting.
