Details»
Description:

The next iteration of the Agile IT Special Interest Group will examine two very important and yest, closely related topics:
1. How can embracing Agile approach help your organization be more innovative
2. How can you increase your organization’s IT throughput and reliability using Agile

For many organizations Agile is synonymous with innovation. It provides organizations the ability to efficiently and effectively prototype products or solutions iteratively. The systemic, disciplined and repeatable processes that Agile methodology offers, allow organizations to experiment and fail quickly, realizing the true leanings that will allow them to take to market products and services that are truly innovative and successful.

A primary appeal of the Agile methodology is its speed and ability to deliver products efficiently. At the same time, a study by the Standish Group found that Agile projects are six-times more likely to succeed than other conventional methods. This underscores the ability for Agile teams to deliver capabilities more reliably. Improving throughput however needs many adjustments and tweaking - both from an organizational and process points of view. Improving predictability and optimizing productivity requires us to re-imagine not only the workloads, but also the entire value-chain, and especially the dependencies within the environment. This is indeed something very challenging to achieve.

Join your peers from other great Wisconsin companies to discuss how Agile teams could not only innovate new solutions, but also increase their throughput to be more efficient and effective in delighting their customers.
