Details»
Description:

The next iteration of the Agile IT Special Interest Group (SIG) will examine two very important and yet, closely related topics:
1. How can embracing Agile help your organization be more innovative
2. How can you increase your organization’s IT throughput and reliability using Agile

For many organizations Agile is synonymous with innovation. It provides organizations the ability to efficiently and effectively prototype products or solutions iteratively. The systemic, disciplined and repeatable processes that Agile methodology offers, allow organizations to experiment and fail quickly, realizing the true learnings that will allow them to take to market products and services that are truly innovative and successful.

A primary appeal of the Agile methodology is its speed and ability to deliver products efficiently. At the same time, a study by the Standish Group found that Agile projects are six-times more likely to succeed than other conventional methods. This underscores the ability for Agile teams to deliver capabilities more reliably, effectively and efficiently.

Among the presenters at this meeting are Peter Herzum (President, Herzum Group) who will discuss how Agile, collaboration and innovation drives the modern enterprise. Also, Jason Malmstadt (Agile Coach, Centare) and Craig Walker (Director of IT at the American Society for Quality – ASQ) will discuss how Agile teams can deliver exceptional quality.

Join your peers from other great Wisconsin companies to discuss how Agile teams could not only innovate new solutions, but also increase their throughput to be more efficient and effective in delighting their customers.
