Description:

In the second installment of the S&OP special interest group, we will start the day reviewing the data from the survey that members took during the first meeting. The survey asked specific questions regarding what type of business, operations, S&OP and forecasting models companies are utilizing and dug deep on lead times, customer types and data transparency.

We will then discuss the five steps successful S&OP organizations are using to break down the barriers within to get the right people and data together in the planning process. Discussions led by Prof Siemsen and member companies will be followed by breakout sessions specific to the topic.

The day will conclude with the group deciding on the topics for the next series of meetings.

Participate in Customizing the Agenda: You’ll have the opportunity to play an active part in shaping the agenda for this session – and to maximize its relevance for you – by suggesting and selecting topics for break-out discussions. Once the agenda is complete, you choose the discussions you want to join. This will be a highly interactive session so come prepared to share your questions, challenges and insights!
