Improving S&OP by Engaging Customers, Suppliers and Technology

Learn how to better include customers and suppliers in the S&OP process. Also gain insights on how technology can enable S&OP and what types members are using. 

In prior meetings, we have discussed how to integrate forecasting and who owns the forecast in the S&OP process. In this installment of the SIG, we will discuss 5 ways to include customers and suppliers into the S&OP process given their importance on forecast input and effect on lead times and order integrity.

In the afternoon, we will switch gears and discuss how technology can enable a smoother S&OP process and have a group discussion on the types of tools (software, SAAS etc.) members are utilizing to manage their S&OP.

Participate in Customizing the Agenda: You’ll have the opportunity to play an active part in shaping the agenda for this session – and to maximize its relevance for you – by suggesting and selecting topics for break-out discussions. Once the agenda is complete, you choose the discussions you want to join. This will be a highly interactive session so come prepared to share your questions, challenges and insights!
