Rethinking Mobile
April 19, 2012 12:00 PM - 01:00 PM
Considerations beyond the iPhone
Led by Nathan Hinshaw - lead technical developer and mobile evangelist for The Usman Group.

This webinar will cover the current technological capabilities present in creating mobile experiences to support your brand. We will discuss the key differences between native and browser based mobile solutions, and the possibilities to engage, activate, and create users by implementing a thoughtful and deliberate mobile strategy.

By reviewing current best practices (abilities of HTML5/CSS3, accessibility, and compatibility issues), as well as taking into consideration the looming paradigm shift in methods of mobile interactivity and connectivity, we will come to a more fully realized view of the current mobile marketplace.

Takeaways will include:

1. An understanding of the general trends and business purpose of apps

2. Identify what questions to ask when considering mobile marketing

3. Development of apps

4. Review of best-in-class examples as well as discussion of screens submitted by UWEBC member companies
