Information Technology Peer Group Meeting

DevOps and Automation within IT Infrastructure and Operations
June 14, 2018 09:00 AM - 03:00 PM
How can your enterprise embrace DevOps and automation?

Automation and DevOps are possibly two of the most popular terms in IT vernacular today. They both offer opportunities to fundamentally impact and challenge the conventional and orthodox methods of delivering IT services within the enterprise. While automation is only a smaller facet of the more widely encompassing operational paradigm of DevOps, it is nonetheless an opportunity for many organizations to implement quick, point solutions that enable faster deliveries of IT services or products. Through automation, organizations can orchestrate an efficient and dynamic technological environment that is responsive and adaptive to business requirements.

DevOps has changed both process and people, allowing developers to work with operations folks to continuously integrate and deliver services without the archaic and often issue-ridden, hand-off mechanisms that have been in place for decades. DevOps has allowed designers, engineers, developers, integrators, QAs and operations folks to work together in the entire service lifecycle of the solutions. The benefits of this approach is obvious not only in the faster pace and higher quality of products, but also with increased satisfaction of teams and in the creation of a synchronous and collaborative work environment.

Join your peers from other world-class companies in Wisconsin to learn about automation and DevOps at this UWEBC event. This would be phenomenal opportunity for IT leaders to network, share experiences and find great insights that can help your own organizations.
