One of the common challenges member companies are coming up against is finding and keeping the right talent. As the labor market tightens, companies are forced to re-assess their organizations in order to conduct business-as-usual with an eye on the future. At this meeting, we will discuss how you structure your organization from a roles and responsibilities standpoint, and how to develop people within your organization.

Appropriate attendees are Warehouse Managers, Logistics and Procurement Managers and Directors and VP’s of those functional areas. We will look at overall supply chain organization structure from a members perspective and drill down into what has worked, and what has not.

Breakout sessions, segregated by like-sized organizations, will allow benchmarking with each other. We plan to bring in member companies to present on their structure as well as subject matter experts in this space. Currently, we have Jerry Duhn, VP of Supply Chain and Strategic Sourcing at Sub-Zero slated to speak about their recent SCM re-alignment. Jay Rosencrantz, Managing Director at Pappas Delaney will discuss current trends in the marketplace when it comes to the types of positions companies are seeking for long term success. Other speakers will be updated as they are confirmed.

Participate in Customizing the Agenda: You’ll have the opportunity to play an active part in shaping the agenda for this session – and to maximize its relevance for you – by suggesting and selecting topics for break-out discussions. Once the agenda is complete, you choose the discussions you want to join. This will be a highly interactive session so come prepared to share your questions, challenges and insights!
