Supply Chain Management Peer Group Meeting

Supply Chain Organizational Structure
June 06, 2019 09:00 AM - 03:00 PM
Discover how other member companies are structuring their supply chain in this tight labor market and increasing pressure to automate, decrease costs and deliver value.

One of the common challenges member companies are coming up against is finding and keeping the right talent. As the labor market tightens, companies are forced to re-assess their organizations in order to conduct business-as-usual with an eye on the future. At this meeting, we will discuss how you structure your organization from a roles and responsibilities standpoint, and how to develop people within your organization.

Appropriate attendees are Warehouse Managers, Logistics and Procurement Managers and Directors and VP’s of those functional areas. We will look at overall supply chain organization structure from a members perspective and drill down into what has worked, and what has not.

Breakout sessions, segregated by like-sized organizations, will allow benchmarking with each other. Jerry Duhn, VP of Supply Chain and Strategic Sourcing at Sub-Zero is slated to speak about their recent SCM re-alignment. Jay Rosencrantz, Managing Director at Pappas Delaney will discuss how to building strong relationships with employees through continuous communication and how to hire to culture and proper on boarding of new hires.

Participate in Customizing the Agenda: You’ll have the opportunity to play an active part in shaping the agenda for this session – and to maximize its relevance for you – by suggesting and selecting topics for break-out discussions. Once the agenda is complete, you choose the discussions you want to join. This will be a highly interactive session so come prepared to share your questions, challenges and insights!
