The Supply Chain Management practice area provides a highly interactive forum for member companies to gain insights from and discuss challenges with supply chain experts in break-outs, member company presentations and case studies.

To better serve our members, the Supply Chain Management Peer Group was recently split into two groups. More information about each Peer Group, including specific dates and meeting assets, can be found through the following links:

You can read more about why we decided to change the peer groups here.

If you have not selected which Peer Group you want to join, you will receive emails for both. To update your subscription settings, sign in above, click on "My Account" and edit your subscriptions under "Email Communication Management Center."

Supply Chain Management Peer Group Meeting

Digital Transformation of the Supply Chain
May 08, 2018 09:00 AM - 03:00 PM
Learn how supply chain professionals are considering technology to improve efficiencies.

There are no shortages of technologies that promise to improve supply chains. At this meeting, we will be discussing how IOT (Internet of Things), Blockchain and other digitization methods are shaping the supply chain of the future and what is real currently and what are false promises.

Tentatively scheduled is GE Healthcare to present on how they are gathering and utilizing data within their logistics network to become more streamlined. A representative from UW-Madison will be speaking about Blockchain, specific to the overall supply chain, and give us an overview of how it can be applied. Similarly, member company Centare will provide a case study on how IOT is being used in real world cases in the forecasting, inventory, logistics and distribution realms. More speakers to be announced.

Participate in Customizing the Agenda: You’ll have the opportunity to play an active part in shaping the agenda for this session – and to maximize its relevance for you – by suggesting and selecting topics for break-out discussions. Once the agenda is complete, you choose the discussions you want to join. This will be a highly interactive session so come prepared to share your questions, challenges and insights!

Webcast Available: If you can't make it to the event in-person (or if in-person registration has reached capacity), you can still register to attend from your computer. This option allows you to view the presentations, while attending in person provides you with the opportunity to participate in break-out discussions, ask questions or take advantage of networking opportunities.
